Wikipedia describes Fairfield as a mainly residential suburb on the Brisbane River with "house and unit accommodation", and the 2021 Census bears that out. Separate houses made up 62.9% of its dwellings and flats or apartments 28.6%, twice the national share of 14.2%. Bedroom counts are spread widely: 8.9% of dwellings had one bedroom, 28.5% had two, 35.2% had three and 26.0% had four or more, for an average of 2.9.
The households are just as varied. Fairfield averages 2.5 people per household, but group households, people sharing who are not a family, made up 14.9% of all households, almost four times the national rate of 3.9%. Family households accounted for 60.3% and lone-person households 24.8%.
For a custom lounge in Fairfield, that mix changes the question from "what size sofa?" to "how many seats, and in what shape?". A shared house of four adults needs somewhere for everyone to sit at once, often in a living room that was laid out for a family. A couple in a two-bedroom unit may want one well-proportioned sofa that leaves room for a dining table. A family in a three- or four-bedroom house might want a complete arrangement with an ottoman. Each of those is a different piece of furniture, and building to order means you get the one that fits.
The suburb's everyday life runs through Fairfield Gardens, the shopping centre at 180 Fairfield Road, and the railway station on the Beenleigh line. For businesses nearby, our custom work extends to seating for offices, cafés, restaurants, waiting areas and retail spaces.
Integrity Lounge Designs does not operate a shopfront or showroom in Fairfield. Every custom lounge for a Fairfield home is designed and built at our sole workshop in Salisbury, further south. Pick-up and drop-off can be arranged for many jobs, and the quote sets out the options and any associated costs.
